The actor took to Instagram on Saturday (June 7) to share a playful tribute to his wife, revealing that she brought a can of root beer to their fancy anniversary dinner. “Happy 6 year anniversary to the woman who brings her own root beer to fancy dinner,” he wrote, alongside a sweet snapshot of the couple at the restaurant, with a giant arrow pointing to the iconic can.
The Garfield star made the comment alongside a photo of them both at the restaurant and drew an arrow pointing to the can of root beer.
What’s more, Chris added the Stevie Wonder track 'Isn’t She Lovely' to the background of the romantic post, and they enjoyed a chocolate cake that was iced with the words “Happy Anniversary.”
In a separate post, the Hollywood star paid tribute to his wife as he thanked her for showing him what “love, grace and strength” are in life.He wrote: “6 years ago today, I married my best friend. You’ve shown me what love, grace and strength look like.”
The caption was posted over a family photo, with Chris having drawn a heart over his children’s faces. “Thank you for making this life so full of joy, family, and faith. Happy Anniversary, Darling!”
Katherine, who has Lyla (4), Eloise (3), and seven-month-old Ford with Chris, while he also has 12-year-old Jack with his ex-wife Anna Faris, also shared the post to acknowledge the anniversary, noting they were actually a day early.
